Mabor Gabriel dominated early, Tim Preston dazzled throughout and Carmen Giampetruzzi took care of business late. Back & forth top seed Trinity and fourth seed Nashua South went all the way to the final seconds when a missed free throw by Vinnie Ortolano was gathered in by Ryan Otis as time expired. Trinity jumped out to a 21-13 lead after one and 30-23 at the half but South would tie the game after three quarters led by the best point guard in Division I Tim Preston. The junior guard scored 22 points, dished out 4 assists and made 4 steals, and fell just sort of sending head coach Nate Mazerolle and the Panthers to the title game. In the end Patrick Keefe, Mabor Gabriel and Giampetruzzi knocked down key foul shots as the Pioneers go back to the title game for the 5th time in 7 years under head coach Dave Keefe. Pete Tarrier & Jon Kesty bring you all the play by play plus post-game interviews with coach Keefe, Mabor Gabriel, Ryan Otis & Carmen Giampetruzzi. This game is available for purchase on DVD.
