It took Patrick Welch three years to get to Durham but once he arrived it took about ten minutes for him to completely own the place.

Coe-Brown mixed up defenses, took care of the ball and never deviated from the game plan given to them by Hall of Fame head coach David Smith. It wouldn't matter though.

That's because Pembroke's junior shooting guard ,who may end his career as one of the Top 10 scorers in the history of the state, put together a first half performance for the ages; outscoring Coe-Brown by himself 21-18 on 9 for 10 shooting. He did in transition, it in the half-court, in the paint and behind the three point line. Welch was the best player in New Hampshire, at least for one night.

In the second half it was his all-state point guard Rene Maher's turn to take over the game but in a much different manner. Down by double digits Coe-Brown had to pressure & trap and Maher guided his team through the traffic like a driver that knew all the shortcuts.

In the end Pembroke walked off with their 21st win without a loss and now only Souhegan stands between them and perfection.

Pete Tarrier and Jon Kesty bring you all the video highlights, play by play and post-game interviews with Rene Maher, Patrick Welch, Matt Persons and Matt Alosa.
