Keegan Mills scored on a 33 yard touchdown run to put Campbell in front of Monadnock midway thru the 4th quarter of a hard fought 12-8 Cougars win in the Division 3 State Championship Game at UNH. Monadnock fell behind 6-0 on a Mills 1 yard score early in the 2nd quarter, but took the lead before halftime when Tim Hart ran it in from 6 yards out and Chandler Matson converted a 2-point run that made it 8-6.
Campbell struggled on offense most of the day against the tough Huskies defense before switching to a spread formation that helped them move the ball down the field on the go ahead drive. Mills finished with 76 yards and the 2 TDs, while Matson rushed 28 times for 125 yards for Monadnock.
