(8) Campbell at (1) Kearsarge Regional

 Campbell won an arena football style game over Mascenic and now gets another crack at Kearsarge after Tayler Mattos went for 49 points on them in a game we covered in January.

 Kearsarge got a good battle from Winnisquam, who went down fighting. Remember this Kearsarge team a year ago featured four all-state players; Trent Noordsij, Zach Mattos, Tayler Mattos & Tommy Johnson. A year later only two remain and as we have written all year long, no one has stepped up into that third all-state level contributor. This is a team with some really solid roles players that are very well coached by Nate Camp but it comes down to Johnson & Tayler Mattos producing against good teams or they go home….and there are only good teams left.

 How Campbell head coach Sudi Lett defends Mattos will be interesting to see. Harrison Vedrani can front him but you need weak side help. There was none in the first meeting and thus…the 49 points.
