 Profile head coach Paul Greenlaw will be stepping down after the season after 29 years of coaching and 22 years as a head coach. I’ll have a story on Tuesday morning about Paul, who has been a good friend to our team at NHsportspage.

 His Patriots get a second crack at Jamie Hayes’ Newmarket Mules tomorrow night with the winner facing the tall task of going to Littleton for the quarterfinal round.

 For Profile it begins with containing Anthony Senesombath (22.1 ppg), who went for 29 points in the season opening win. Hayes runs a very good motion offense and doesn’t rely on a lot of set plays. He has a man curling to the basket after every pass with a man in the corner for the open three when the defense drops down to help. This allows players like Travis Moseley (10.6) and Tyler Quintanilla (5.9) to catch the ball on the move and creates dump down opportunities for forward Craig Hounam (10.1).

 The Mules will play man to man defense against a Profile team that runs as many set plays on offense as any team in the Division. The Patriots don’t have a go to scorer in crunch time but they have several players capable of making plays when the play is run for them. River Baker (14.1) has been very solid all-season long while Cam Hoyt (7.1) and Jordan Brusseau (6.3) have been good as well.

 Profile will mix up their defenses throughout the game to try to keep Newmarket out of sync. The Mules feel like they are a few possessions away from a higher seed while Profile wants to send their coach out in style.
