Bedford goes to 2-0 on the season after defeating Concord 16-0 on Friday night. After the 1st quarter no points had been put on the board but at the start of the second quarter, Bedford got a safety to go up 2-0.
On the very next drive, the Bulldogs marched down the field and a touchdown throw from quarterback Joseph Mikoi to receiver Aaron Skaling, put Bedford up 9-0. That score would remain until the 4th quarter as some miscues and good defense stalled the offense on both sides. The Crimson Tide had some success moving the ball but the Bedford defense never allowed Concord to reach the red zone.
The Bulldogs put the game away in the 4th quarter with a touchdown run from Soloman Sanchez to go up 16-0.
