5 candidates to choose from this week!

New Hampshire Sportspage, celebrating its 12th year of high school sports coverage, brings you the weekly Adrenaline Fundraising/Buffalo Wild Wings Player of the Week Poll.

After each week's slate of games, candidates for the award will be posted. Voting will go until Wednesday night at midnight before we name the winner on Thursday morning.

Each winner will receive an Adrenaline t-shirt (pictured below) and a Buffalo Wild Wings gift certificate!

The team at Adrenaline Fundraising, of which I am a part of, has raised money for New Hampshire’s football programs from the high school to youth level for over 20 years.

Jeff Whitman & Brett LeFlem of Adrenaline are sponsoring our weekly player of the week poll throughout the school year.

Week 3 Winner: Jon Willeman of Lebanon

Week 4 Winner: Jason Compoh of Nashua South

Week 5 Winner: Owen Gormley of Salem

This week’s candidates:

Tommy Rolla of Bow: The Falcons remained as the last undefeated team in Division II and Rolla played a huge part in their 6th win. Rushing for 146 yards and finding the endzone 5 times in their win over Merrimack Valley.

Ed Shlimon of Pelham: The Python defense is becoming one of the stories of the year in Division II and Shlimon is a big reason why. Shlimon led the team in tackles against Souhegan and has been a defensive force all season long for Pelham.

James Dowling of Merrimack: The Tomahawks QB completed 8 of 15 passes for 296 yards and 4 touchdowns in a 40-6 win over Keene.

Lincoln Blodgett of Monadnock: The Huskies do-everything two-way all-state performer had a big game in what was a huge win for the defending champs. Rushing for 188 yards and 3 touchdowns in a 52-20 win over HD-Hopkinton.

Curtis Nelson of Gilford-Belmont: The leading receiver in the state had another big game against Hanover on Friday night. Nelson 3 passes for 154 yards and a touchdown in the Golden Eagles victory.
