Playing in monsoon-like conditions Londonderry and Exeter went back & forth for four quarters, with each team controlling the clock for chunks of the game.

 Trailing 10-7 and with their undefeated season on the line the Lancers put together a 7-minute drive that culminated in a Jake McEachern touchdown run.

 Londonderry then recovered a fumble on the ensuing kickoff and sealed the title with a Tyler Kayo 2-yard touchdown run.
