The only Power Poll that really matters is what's inside McIsaac's head

Shout out to Andy Reid, even if he does kinda look like the Kool Aid man

It’s back! America’s favorite listicle, The Top 10 – since we’re all about to die in World War 3, I figure I should crank out as many of these as possible.

The Top 10 is brought to you by TJ’S in Portsmouth! My absolute favorite spot in Portsmouth to catch a game. Tell Bethany that McIsaac sent you.

10. JOHN KREESE IS BACK AND BY GOD IT’S ABOUT TIME

Not to give any free pub to Quickbooks since they seem to be a fairly awful company (unless they want to sponsor us!), but the new commercial with John Kreese changing Cobra Kai to Koala Kai is GOLD

MORE MERCY!

9. BIG WIN FOR HOPKINTON

I know Hopkinton was 6-1 and Conant was 4-2 heading into Friday night’s game, but I don’t care if you’re 104-0 and Conant is 0-154, any win over Conant is a big one. Luke Reidy had 4 big points over the last minute to help the Hawks to a 3 point W.

8. TIMBERLANE IS ON THE BOARD DESPITE SPENDING 8 MINUTES OFF THE BOARD

First win of the season for the Owls, 40-35 over Trinity, despite scoring as many points as you or I did in the 3rd Quarter – 0. Cameron Ross lead the Owls with 13 to get the W for Timberlane.

7. I AM LEGIT HAPPY FOR ANDY REID

I make a lot of Andy Reid clock management/time out/challenge management jokes, and Andy gives us a lot of material for those, but he’s a brilliant offensive mind who’s gone through a lot of personal stuff, and I’ll be rooting for KC in the SuperBowl. Yes, even over Jimmy G.

6. I’M RUNNING INTO THE OCEAN ON SUPER SUNDAY

That probably seems like a bad idea, but it’s for a good cause – I’m raising awareness and money for Special Olympics NH as part of their Penguin Plunge. I’m a giant baby when it comes to the cold, so if you can, make it worth my while by donating to the cause here: https://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/justin-mcisaac/2020-Penguin-Plunge

5. LITTLETON AT THE HORN

Landon Bromley was The Man for Littleton, scoring the game-winning bucket on a putback at the buzzer to keep the Crusaders unbeaten, and earn North Country bragging rights, for the time being.  The rematch on 2/7 should be an interesting one, this time it’s in Groveton.

4. SUPER SOPH JACK TARLETON LEADS MERRIMACK PAST DOVER

25 for Tarleton as Merrimack did Merrimack things in holding a Greenwave team that had scored 83 v Salem to 49 in the win. Both teams now sit at 4-2, and Merrimack is allowing under 40 ppg, which is what we call “On-Brand”

3. AS IN THE BIG THREE FOR MEMORIAL

Lyric Grumblat and Jenessa Brunette had 21 each, and Adopted Niece Tamrah Gould added 15 for Manchester Memorial as they fought off Bedford in OT to stay unbeaten. Is this the year Memorial can take down BG? We’re gonna find out Tuesday night as those two D1 titans will clash.

2. TAKE THE OVER IN HINSDALE GAMES

In their last 3 games, the Hinsdale boys are averaging 72 ppg and allowing 74ppg, including scoring 92 against Wilton and allowing 101 (while scoring 76) v Derryfield. What the heck is going on in Hinsdale?!?

1. SALUTE THE MAN TODAY

“I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality. This is why right, temporarily defeated, is stronger than evil triumphant.” -- MLK

ALSO RECEIVING VOTES: Turns out Ryan Tannehill stinks, Exeter might have thrown more passes in their championship game than the Niners did, Spaulding girls still unbeaten, Winny boys win again
