5 new candidates are up for the Player of the Week

 We had a great showing of basketball throughout the state of New Hampshire this past week. 

 This week marks our third Buffalo Wild Wings Girls Basketball Player of the Week Poll.

 After each week's slate of games, candidates for the award will be posted. Voting will go until Wednesday at midnight and the winner will be named on Thursday. 

 Each winner will receive an NHSportspage t-shirt and a Buffalo Wild Wings gift certificate! 

 Week 1 winner: Brianna Filion of Newmarket and Maurgan McGrath of Hopkinton 

Week 2 winner: Avery Stewart of Fall Mountain

 Here are this week's candidates..  

Megan Roberts of Hinsdale: The Pacers went on the road and picked up a hard-fought 47-41 victory on the road. Roberts was the key, scoring a game-high 26 points to improve Hinsdale to 7-1.  

Isabella King of Bedford: Isabella King has been an absolute tear through 7 games. The junior netted a season-high 34 points in a 72-54 victory over Keene on the road. King also led the Bulldogs in scoring with 24 points in a 64-62 loss to Manchester Memorial. 

Rebecca Wright of Lebanon: The senior continued her excellent play and scored a team-high 22 points in a great road victory over Bishop Brady, 56-41.  

Lyric Grumblatt of Manchester Memorial: The Crusaders kept their undefeated season alive in a 64-62 overtime victory against Bedford. Grumblatt scored 21 points and had 5 big points in overtime to secure the victory.  

Aviara Challinor of White Mountains: The Spartans traveled on the road to Newfound and picked up a huge 54-31 victory. Challinor was the key, tallying 24 points, 15 rebounds, and 6 steals.
