The Buffalo Wild Wings Girls Basketball Player of the Week Poll

Another week down and another week of great performances across the state in girls basketball. 

 This week marks our sixth Buffalo Wild Wings Girls Basketball Player of the Week Poll.

 After each week's slate of games, candidates for the award will be posted. Voting will go until Wednesday at midnight and the winner will be named on Thursday. 

 Each winner will receive an NHSportspage t-shirt and a Buffalo Wild Wings gift certificate!  

 Week 1 winner: Brianna Filion of Newmarket and Maurgan McGrath of Hopkinton 

Week 2 winner: Avery Stewart of Fall Mountain 

Week 3 winner: Isabella King of Bedford  

Week 4 winner: Emy Plage of Derryfield 

Week 5 winner: Jennessa Brunette of Manchester Memorial 

Here are this week's candidates..   

Jess Carrier of Manchester Memorial: The point guard re-injured her shoulder in the 1st quarter and came back in the 4th quarter to hit the biggest shot of the night, a three-pointer to send the game against their rival Central to overtime and helped Memorial pull it out 46-44.  

Shelby Babin of Mascenic: The senior scored 14 points in a 61-28 win over Concord Christian and eclipsed the 1,000 point mark for her career last Wednesday.  

Ami Rivera of Bishop Brady: The senior helped hold off a young Bow team scoring a game-high 24 points in an 80-74 win.  

Elizabeth Gonyea of Conant: The junior and Conant continue to roll as they remained undefeated with a 52-31 victory over Monadnock. Gonyea finished with a team-high 12 points. 

Jordyn Franzen of Salem: The Blue Devils picked up a 53-42 victory on the road and Franzen put together her best performance of the season with a game-high 25 points in the win.
