Who will be the first girls basketball Player of the Week?

Every week we will nominate six candidates for the Buffalo Wild Wings Girls Basketball Player of the Week.

Voting will go from Tuesday at noon until Thursday at 7 am.

Each winner will receive an NHSportspage custom game jersey with their last name and number plus a Buffalo Wild Wings gift certificate from our longtime partners at Buffalo Wild Wings with locations in Manchester, Nashua, Concord, and Rochester!

This Week’s Candidates

Lana McCarthy of Bedford: Despite a devastating 69-64 loss to BG in the season opener, McCarthy shined in her freshman debut tallying a game-high 24 points.

Angelina Nardolillo of Hinsdale: The pre-season all-state first-teamer welcomed herself back to the division with a game-high 28 points in a 57-45 opening night victory over Monadnock.

Valentina White of Coe-Brown: The senior guard has been red-hot to start the season for the Bears and tallied a season-high 34 points in a 60-42 victory over Oyster River.

Jordan Levesque of Plymouth: Levesque put together a 21-point performance in an eye-opening 49-45 victory over Newfound on opening night.

Ami Rivera of Bishop Brady: Rivera has been one of the toughest players to stop to start the year, scoring a season-high 27 points in a 61-58 opening night victory over Coe-Brown.

Elizabeth Blinn of Concord: The Crimson Tide picked up two victories over Merrimack Valley to start the season and Blinn was the calming factor in both of those matchups with 14 and 16 point performances.
