The Coe-Brown Bears were hot from the opening inbound. Jenny Bettencourt got the action going by attacking the basket early and often. 

 This allowed Valentina White to shake away from Maddie Houghton for a few open looks, helping Coe-Brown build a consistent double-digit lead throughout the contest. 

 Grace Merry-Carriero and the spot-up shooting helped spark a 4th quarter run for Sanborn that fell just 1 point short at the end, 55-54. 

 Merry-Carierro finished with a game-high 20 points and Bettencourt and White scored 19 and 13 points respectivley.
