Six candidates for this week's poll!

 Every week we will nominate six candidates for the Buffalo Wild Wings Boys Basketball Player of the Week.

 Voting will go from Tuesday at noon until Thursday at 7 am.

 Each winner will receive an NHSportspage custom game jersey with their last name and number (pictured above) plus a Buffalo Wild Wings gift certificate from our longtime partners at Buffalo Wild Wings with locations in Manchester, Nashua and Concord, Rochester!

 Week 1 Winner: Michael Cavanaugh of St. Thomas

 

This Week’s Candidates

Jah Gordon of Pittsfield: The Panthers are 5-0 and their senior point guard is a big reason why. Gordon scored 26 points in a win over Derryfield and is averaging 17 ppg. on the season.

Mike Pitman of Pembroke Academy: The Spartans are off to a 3-1 start and their all-state guard had a big week for Rich Otis’s team: scoring 54 points on the week.

Tom Delgado of Exeter: In a pair of wins over arch-rival Winnacunnet the senior sharp-shooter averaged 18 points as the Blue Hawks opened up 2-0 on the season. Scoring 19 and 17 points in the victories.

Jackson Ruelke of Belmont: Playing Division II Laconia short-handed the all-state guard was a force in a win over the Sachems: Scoring 32 points to go along with 5 steals, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. No word on whether he ran the halftime 50/50 raffle as well..

Matt Lamy of Bow: The all-state guard is showing why he is a player of the year candidate in Division II. Lamy scored 42 points in a wins over John Stark & Hillsboro-Deering as the Falcons remained undefeated.

Royce Williams of Trinity: The Pioneers all-state guard was sensational in a season-opening win over Goffstown; scoring 30 points to go along with 11 rebounds and 8 steals in the victory.
