This Week’s Candidates
Sarah Muir of Concord Christian: The 7th grader (yes, 7th grader!) scored a season-high 14 points in a 50-20 victory over Franklin.
Gillian Waller of Merrimack: Waller scored 18 points in a 42-41 win over Londonderry and also hit the game-tying three to send the game to overtime and help the Tomahawks complete the comeback.
Avery Stewart of Fall Mountain: Fall Mountain-Stevens games are always close contests, and last Friday proved to be no different as the Wildcats pulled out a 50-49 victory behind 24 points from Stewart.
Melissa Whitmore of Hanover: After a low-scoring game in the first meeting between the two rivals, Whitmore led the way with 24 points in a 56-42 win over Lebanon.
Ava Woodman of Concord: The sophomore has helped get the Crimson Tide back on track and scored 17 points in a 53-27 win over a sneaky good Trinity team.
Bella LaPerle of Bow: The Falcons held Bishop Brady to a season-low 30 points and LaPerle was a big part of that defensive effort while also leading Bow with 12 points in the victory.
