It played out like the heavyweight fight we expected; with Winnacunnet throwing the punches early and Exeter firing back all the way to overtime.

 In a game that should have happened two rounds later and 16 miles down the road at UNH the Warriors made timely free throws and survived terrific performances by the all-state duo of Jacob Gibbons (21 points) and Matt McConnell (16) to advance to the Division I quarterfinals where they will travel to Portsmouth.
