It only took one hit for Londonderry to pull off the 2-0 win vs their rival Pinkerton. Both runs came in the 4th inning, as a single from Owen Carey scored Johan Pena to take the lead. Then Jack Marshall stole third and came in to score off the errant throw.
Connor Fennell pitched 7 scoreless innings including 5 K’s. In the second inning he came one missed swing away from an immaculate inning. The highlight of the game though, came in the bottom of the third. A hard-hit ball, seemingly destined for the gap in left center field, was caught by the diving Jack Marshall.
For Pinkerton, Liam Doyle pitched 6 innings with 6 K’s. Jackson Marshall had a double and a single. Brandan Horne & Nick Rioux contributed singles as well.
