The 7th Seeded Winnacunnet Warriors advanced to the second round with a strong 11-1 win over the 10th seeded Goffstown Grizzlies.

Goffstown opened the scoring early, when Ryan Cote crushed a ball well over the left centerfield wall for a solo homerun. Winnacunnet didn't hesitate to respond with Owen Bateman hitting a deep triple in the bottom of the inning which scored Joe Allen. Bateman then became the go-ahead run when Hunter Chase singled him home.

The Warriors added to their lead in the second, with Evan Gaffney, Joe Allen, and Jake Fredericks all reaching base via walk or hit by pitch. Ethan Nowak then hit a 2 RBI single with the bases loaded, followed by yet another Owen Bateman triple, scoring two more. Hunter Chase hit another RBI single, scoring Bateman, echoing what happened in the first. This gave the Warriors a 7-1 lead after two innings.

The offense would heat back up in the 4th inning, with Jake Fredericks, Ethan Nowak, and Owen Bateman all singling to load the bases once more. Zach Brazzel would end up wearing a hit by pitch, scoring one runner. Then Owen Gaffney hit a 2-RBI single to put the Warriors up 10-1, now on the cusp of the 10-run mercy rule. A rule they would surpass in the 6th, when Owen Gaffney once again singled, this time scoring Hunter Chase for the win.
