“Choose Community” with colleges that support student success and offer far more than you’ve ever imagined. New Hampshire Community Colleges. 

 Every week we will nominate five candidates for the Community College of New Hampshire/Adrenaline Fundraising Football Player of the Week.

 Voting will go until Thursday at 7 am.

 Each winner will receive an Choose Community shirt from CCSNH, an Adrenaline t-shirt (pictured above) and a Buffalo Wild Wings gift certificate!

 The Community College System of New Hampshire is made up of our partners (Manchester Community College, Nashua Community College, White Mountains Community College, Great Bay Community College, NHTI and River Valley Community College) who make our coverage of statewide high school sports possible.

 Our poll is also sponsored by the team at Adrenaline Fundraising has raised money for New Hampshire’s football programs from the high school to youth level for over 20 years.

 Week 1 Winner: Toby Brown of Nashua North

 

 Week 2 Candidates:

 Eli Bahuma of Concord: The Tide earned an eye opening 48-12 win at Keene as Bahuma put on a rushing clinic; totaling 305 yards and 3 touchdowns on just 15 carries.

 Jeff Vidou of Hanover: The Marauders running back was terrific in a win over John Stark; scoring 5 touchdowns, including a 60-yard interception he returned to the house (one of two INT's), a receiving touchdown and 111 yards & 3 rushing touchdowns.

 Gunner Jackson of Portsmouth-Oyster River: The Clipper Cats standout was terrific in a shutout win over Winnacunnet with 13 tackles, 3 pancake blocks and a blocked punt he returned for a touchdown.

 JJ Bright of Souhegan: The Sabers all-state back was electric in a 40-14 win over arch-rival Milford; scoring 3 touchdowns, rushing for 109 yards on 8 carries, being amongst the team leaders in tackles and hauling in a screen pass for a 53 yard reception that set up a touchdown.

 Tayshawn Sheppard of Somersworth: The Hilltoppers opened their title defense in impressive fashion, beating Newfound 41-0 as Sheppard had 87 yards rushing and a touchdown on just 8 carries and returned an interception 57 yards to the house.
