The Patriots come away victroious on their home field over Gorham

Profile won an exciting game at home against Gorham. The scoring was started by Makenna Price, who buried a free kick into the bottom corner from just outside the box. She was joined in the scoring column by freshman Natalie Brantley, who tapped a rebound into the net to extend the lead. Madeline Koehler then made it three unanswered by scoring off a nice pass from Elania Demaggio.

Gorham scored shortly after Tori Demers launched a bomb of a free kick that found its home in the net. The Huskies were able to score again late in the second half, when Demers made a nice run, eventually finding Sarah Godin who fired home the goal. Profile was able to defend well and Gorham was unable to force overtime.

There was some great defensive effort by Jess Burton of Gorham, who was a brick wall on the back line of the Husky defense. There was also great defense played by Profile with Lily Hodgdon anchoring the back line and Morgan Presby defending the net with some timely stops.

Brandon Bojarsky brings you all the play-by-play while Ian Melewski brings you all the highlights plus a fun post-game interview/celebration with the winners.
