Five new candidates for the Football Player of the Week!

“Choose Community” with colleges that support student success and offer far more than you’ve ever imagined. New Hampshire Community Colleges.

 Every week we will nominate five candidates for the Community College of New Hampshire/Adrenaline Fundraising Football Player of the Week.

 Voting will go until Thursday at 7 am.

 Each winner will receive an Choose Community shirt from CCSNH, an Adrenaline t-shirt (pictured above) and a Buffalo Wild Wings gift certificate!

 The Community College System of New Hampshire is made up of our partners (Manchester Community College, Nashua Community College, White Mountains Community College, Great Bay Community College, NHTI and River Valley Community College) who make our coverage of statewide high school sports possible.

 Our poll is also sponsored by the team at Adrenaline Fundraising has raised money for New Hampshire’s football programs from the high school to youth level for over 20 years.

 Week 1 Winner: Toby Brown of Nashua North

 Week 2 Winner: JJ Bright of Souhegan

 Week 3 Winner: Isaiah Reese of Gilford-Belmont

 Week 4 Winner: Matt Santosuosso of Bishop Guertin

 Week 5 Winner: Reimello Hyde of Merrimack

 Week 6 Winners: The Londonderry Linebackers (Trevor Weinmann, Andrew Soucy, Nate Pedrick and Jack Drabik)-

 Week 8 Candidates:

 Ryder Aubin of Dover- It was a record setting night for the Green Wave quarterback in an overtime loss to Timberlane. Aubin completed 27 passes for 432 yards and 5 touchdowns, taking over the Division I passing lead in the process.

 Josh Sweeney of Windham- The Jaguars quarterback stayed cool under pressure against a very good Concord team; throwing for 134 yards and a touchdown and rushing for 41 yards in the win.

 Amaury Almonte of Nashua North- In the game of the year (so far) the Titans speedster found the endzone three times. rushing for 38 yards and two touchdowns, hauling in a 22-yard reception and taking the opening kickoff to the house in North's 35-28 victory over Bishop Guertin.

 Romy Jain of Souhegan- The Sabers sophomore quarterback was outstanding in a showdown against an elite Pelham defense. Jain completed 16 of 32 passes for 360 yards and three touchdowns against the Pythons.

 Tyler Walcott of Kennett- The Eagles earned an overtime victory over Merrimack Valley that clinched a playoff berth and Walcott played a big role in the victory. The wide receiver had a kick return for a touchdown, had an interception to go with four tackles and hauled in three receptions for 69 yards in the win.
