The first chance of the game came when Bow's Lyndsey LaPerle was able to break away and force a one-on-one. Her shot was saved by freshman GK Laila Al-Shawafi. "Saved by Laila Al-Shawafi" became a constant storyline as she made 2 more great saves to keep the first half scoreless.
The game would remain scoreless for the first 25 minutes of the second half until Bow earned a free kick from just beyond the box. Lyndsey LaPerle was able to bury a shot that gave the Falcons a 1-0 lead.
Then all chaos broke out. A corner from Pembroke bounced into the box, off a Bow defender, into the net. The game was now tied but the Spartans were not done. Ryley Leblanc launched a shot from well outside the box, a shot that found its home in the back of the net.
Bow was able to get some decent looks to close it out but were unable to score. Pembroke moves on with a 2-1 win to the Championship game against Pelham, who won 4-3 in the prior game.
