The NHsportspage 2022 Underclassman Girls Team

 Every Monday throughout the school year we will highlight the performance of our Players Locker Room Members to both our statewide audience and network of college recruiters.

 These are the players/families that support our 16-person NHsportspage crew for the coverage we provide.

 Each member gets:

Marissa Kenison of Groveton: The all-state forward has helped Groveton to a 2-0 start. Kenison scored 15 points in the Eagles' most recent 49-16 win over Pittsburg-Cannan, and is second in Division IV scoring at 17.5 ppg

Zach Thompson of Mascoma: The Royals player of the year candidate is off to a fast start and was outstanding in a win over Newport, totaling 33 points, 6 assists, 7 rebounds, 4 steals, and a block in the double-digit win.

Jacob Purington of Epping The Blue Devils sophomore center is leading the team in scoring at 12.3 points per game as well as rebounding in a 1-2 start.

Ben Wheelock of Groveton The Eagles guard stepped up in a big way in a 62-59 win over Pittsburg Canaan, scoring a game-high 27 points as Groveton improved to 2-0 to start the season.

Ariana Lord of Colebrook: Lord and the Mohawks are off to a 2-0 start, and Lord has been steady in that effort, chipping in 6 points in a recent 42-27 win over Moultonborough.

Millie Caldon of Gilford: Caldon has played a big part in the Golden Eagles’ 3-0 start. The junior guard scored 10 and 8 points in wins over Somersworth and Newfound. 

Sam Sullivan of Londonderry: The freshman forward has made an immediate impact for the Lancers, averaging 21.0 ppg (27 points in a loss to Exeter and 15 points in a win over Nashua South) through the first two games of the season. 

Keegan Martinez of Belmont The Red Raiders sophomore forward leads the team in scoring, averaging 15 points a game as Belmont is off to a 2-0 start with wins over Inter-Lakes and White Mountains.

Jack Krasnof of Derryfield The all-state forward is off to a fast start, over 5 games he's averaging 21 points (on 56% shooting),  6 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, 4 deflections per game for the 3-2 Cougars.

Joe Gutwein of Con Val  The Cougars all-state forward erupted for 34 points in a 75-56 opening night win over Milford.

Jalen Reese of Gilford: The defending champions are off to a 3-0 start as their player of the year candidate is averaging 19 points a game while being among the team leaders in rebounds, steals, and assists.

Ryan Walker of Woodsville The Engineers freshman point guard, has helped the two-time defending champs get off to a 3-0 start and ranks third on the team in scoring at 8.7 points per game.

Henry Hodgkins of Epping The Blue Devils talented sophomore point guard is averaging 11.7 points a game, ranking second on the team, and leads the team in assists through three games.

Ethan Capsalis of Prospect Mountain The Timberwolves guard is averaging 5 points a game through three games.

Ashton Kenison of Groveton The Eagles guard is averaging 3 points a game as Groveton is off to a 2-0 start.

Sam DeWitt of Alvirne The Broncos sophomore guard scored a team-high 15 points in a 66-46 loss to top-ranked Pinkerton Academy.

Hailey Steinmetz of Pembroke: The freshman forward has wasted no time making an impact for the Spartans, scoring 22 points in an opening night win over Merrimack Valley and adding in 13 more points in a 59-26 win against Lebanon. Steinmetz leads Pembroke in scoring at 17.5 ppg. 

Makayla Walker of Woodsville: Walker helped Woodsville to a 56-12 win over Lisbon, adding in 5 points in the victory.

Delaney Duford of Concord: The junior guard scored 13 points and played strong defense in a 70-47 opening-night victory over Trinity.
 

Isaiah Reese of Gilford: The Golden Eagles all-state guard scored a game-high 19 points in a 67-26 win over Newfound.

Kayden LaClair of Newport: The Tigers all-state guard scored a team-high 24 points in a 75-50 loss to Mascoma.

Colton Martel of Campbell The Cougars are off to a 2-1 start as their all-state forward ranks second on the team in scoring at 14 points a game.

Koal Hurlbert of Pittsburg Canaan The Yellow Jackets all-state guard is averaging 17 points a game as Pittsburg Canaan looks to pick up their first win Wednesday against Gorham.

Griffin Hurlbert of Pittsburg Canaan The Yellowjackets guard is averaging 10.7 points per game through the first five games of the season.

Alex Comire of Derryfield The Cougars guard is off to a good start, over 5 games he's averaging 9 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals, and 2 deflections per game

Josh Caruso of Nashua South The Panthers sophomore all-state guard was terrific in a 76-53 win over Londonderry, scoring 31 points and knocking down six three-pointers in a 10 for 12 shooting performance. 

Gabe Hill of Monadnock: The Huskies guard is averaging 3.5 points per game through two games.

Nate Johnson of Monadnock: The Huskies forward is averaging 3 points a game through two games for Monadnock.

Evan Dumaine of Monadnock: The Huskies standout is off to a fast start, ranking fourth in Division III scoring at 21 points per game.
