The two (and a half) time defending champion Gilford Golden Eagles led throughout but never with any breathing room as a tough & talented Belmont Red Raiders team battled for four quarters.

 Four clutch free throws from Jalen Reese (20 points) sealed the win as Isaiah Reese led the team with 25 points.

 Belmont was led by 17 points from Keegan Martinez and 16 from Sam Reposa.
