Trailing 34-25 at the half the Alvirne Broncos racheted up the defense and held Dover scoreless for nearly six minutes.

 Alvirne took control mid-way through the fourth quarter and earned a crucial win over Dover as their fight to earn a tournament berth after starting the season 0-5.
