The Cardinals show poise throughout to advance back to the title game

This game was filled with runs as the Bishop Guertin Cardinals came out right away and threw the first punch, building a 21-8 lead after one quarter of player.

Hannah Lynch was the agressor early for the Cardinals, scoring 7 of the first 8 points. Ava Winterburn would then get involved in the second quarter, getting the game to a 29-20 score at the break with BG still in control.

Once again, BG responded, getting to the rim at will with Meghan Stack and Brooke Paquette controlling the tempo.

Maggie Sasso would beat the buzzer to end the third to make it 50-43, but from their the Cardinals took over, got to the line and hit their shots, and went on to win 67-49.

Bishop Guertin will once again meet Bedford in the championship on the big floor at UNH this Sunday.
