The Community College System of New Hampshire/Adrenaline Fundraising Baseball Player of the Week Poll

Five new candidates for the baseball player of the week!

“Choose Community” with colleges that support student success and offer far more than you’ve ever imagined. New Hampshire Community Colleges.

Every week we will nominate five candidates for the Community College of New Hampshire/Adrenaline Fundraising Baseball Player of the Week.

Voting will go until Thursday at 7 am.

Each winner will receive an Choose Community shirt from CCSNH and a Buffalo Wild Wings gift certificate!

Winners can take a picture with their shirt surrounded by their teammates, their friends, their parents, their dog, a teacher, a passerby on the street...anyone they want!

We'll post the picture of the winners and tag everyone in the picture on Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok and Twitter to our 30,000 plus followers.

The Community College System of New Hampshire is made up of our partners (Manchester Community College, Nashua Community College, White Mountains Community College, Great Bay Community College, NHTI, and River Valley Community College) who make our coverage of statewide high school sports possible.

Our poll is also sponsored by the team at Adrenaline Fundraising has raised money for New Hampshire’s football programs from the high school to youth level for over 20 years.

Week 1 winner: Zephan Yoder of Somersworth

Week 2 winner: Jack Kidwell of Campbell

Week 5 Candidates:

Charlie Cariello of Bedford- The Bulldogs hurler pitched a complete game 2-hitter with 6 strikeouts in a 1-0 shutout of Timberlane last week. The performance gives Cariello a 3-1 record so far with a 1.21 ERA as Bedford's #2 starter.

Derek Finlay of Nashua North- Finlay returned to the Titans lineup on May 5th and in the 4 games since he's hitting 6 for 11, a .545 clip with 7 RBI and 7 runs scored.

Timmy Avery of St. Thomas- The Avery brothers have been wreaking havoc at the top of the order all season for the Saints and in 3 games last week the elder bro Timmy had 6 hits with a Grand Slam and 9 RBI.

Joe Yanzo of Kearsarge- When Yanzo was at the plate the ball was "Gonzo" in a 19-2 Cougars win over Mascoma last week. Yanzo went 3 for 4 with a double and a homer and drove in 4 runs.

Chase Carder of Gorham- The Huskies all-state standout came up big in an 8-2 win over a very good Woodsville team. Carder threw a complete game; giving up zero earned runs and struck out nine Engineers batters in the win.
