The Community College System of New Hampshire/Adrenaline Fundraising Softball Player of the Week Poll

We have TEN candidates for the final poll of the year!

“Choose Community” with colleges that support student success and offer far more than you’ve ever imagined. New Hampshire Community Colleges. 

 Every week we hope to nominate five candidates for the Community College of New Hampshire/Adrenaline Fundraising Football Player of the Week.

 Voting will go until Friday at 7 am.

 Each winner will receive an Choose Community shirt from CCSNH and a Buffalo Wild Wings gift certificate!

 Winners can take a picture with their shirt surrounded by their teammates, their friends, their parents, their dog, a teacher, a passerby on the street...anyone they want!

 We'll post the picture of the winners and tag everyone in the picture on Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok and Twitter to our 30,000 plus followers.

 The Community College System of New Hampshire is made up of our partners (Manchester Community College, Nashua Community College, White Mountains Community College, Great Bay Community College, NHTI, and River Valley Community College) who make our coverage of statewide high school sports possible.

 Our poll is also sponsored by the team at Adrenaline Fundraising has raised money for New Hampshire’s football programs from the high school to youth level for over 20 years.

 Week 1 Winner: Katalina Davis of Mascenic Regional

 Week 2 Winner: Sarah Taylor of Concord

 

 This week's Candidates:

Madison DeCota of Coe Brown- The senior standout was outstanding last week for the Bears. DeCota went seven for eight at the plate with a triple and four runs batted in while scoring six runs. In addition, she pitched a no-hitter and won two games last week on the mound.

Kierra Souphakhot of Newmarket- The super sophomore was terrific in an 8-1 win over rival Epping, allowing two hits, no walks and striking out fourteen batters.  At the plate, Souphakhot also went four for four with a triple and three runs scored. 

Ava McNamara of Salem- The Blue Devils earned a big time 2-1 win over powerhouse Exeter as the senior hurler went all seven innings in the win and knocked in one of the team's two runs in the victory.

Abby Dowling of Wilton-Lyndeborough- Dowling was absolutely terrific last week with seven hits (including three triples), eight stolen bases, ten RBIs and seven runs scored.

Sophie Roussel  of Goffstown- The sophomore pitcher/1B had a huge week for the Grizzlies. Hitting .583 AVG and a .538 OBP. in three games including 3 doubles, and one 3-run home run. She had 10 RBIs during the week and only 1 strikeout at the plate. On the mound against Merrimack she had 10Ks with only 3 hits and 1 walk against 26 batters faced. 

Brooke Slaton of Pelham- The Pythons senior captain was terrific in wins over Souhegan and Lebanon. Slaton went five for five at the plate (including a three-run home run), was walked four times, knocked in four runs and contributed defensively at shortstop with one putout and four assists.

Maddie Mckenna of Gilford- The Golden Eagles standout was perfect defensively last week and hot .414 against White Mountains & Hopkinton while adding a home run versus Winnisquam.

Emma McNally of Sunapee- The Lakers senior catcher was pretty much perfect in her last regular season home game on Friday; going four for four with three doubles and a home run and being the glue defensively behind the plate.

Hannah McGonigle of Bow- The senior was outstanding for the Falcons; in games against Pembroke and Con Val the 2B/pitcher went 5 for 8 including two home runs, a triple, and five RBIs. On the mound she did not allow a run over five innings, striking out four batters along the way.

Emma Plourde of Exeter- in a 2-1 week for the Blue Hawks the senior catcher had six hits, including three-run homer on senior day and five RBIs for the week.
