This game was on paper was going to be competitive. Two of the top teams in Division IV in Newmarket and PCA going head to head the week before playoffs is always a treat.

 However, within the first five minutes of action, Newmarket was up 3-0. They came out aggressive and executed. PCA immediately was on the ropes and had a huge hill to climb as the game progressed.

 They ended up closing the first half strong being able to keep Newmarket at three goals and even scoring one themselves.

 The second half was much more the game we all expected. Very evenly matched and competitive. It was chippy and both teams got good looks on the net. However, each team showed superb defense not allowing a single goal the rest of the game. The final saw Newmarket still hold their 3-1 lead. These two teams could easily face off again in the postseason. And the way the second half went we all would want to see more.
