#10 Pelham & #7 Pembroke met for the first time since the D2 championship a season ago. Pembroke immediately gave their home fans something to cheer about as Bailey Gatchell netted the first goal only a minute into the game. The Bailey Gatchell show was just starting as she buried three more goals in the next 16 minutes. That 4-0 score would hold to halftime. 

Pelham would get on the board as an Ashlyn Walsh header ended the shutout bid. The Spartans responded with two more insurance goals from Lily Ricci, off a terrific sequence, & Giannah Michelson, off a PK. Laila Al Shawafi made some late saves to keep the score at 6-1, where it would become the final score minutes later. 

This was the fifth straight win for Pembroke as they get some revenge for last season and look to build momentum ahead of a big quarterfinal matchup vs #2 Merrimack Valley.
