The much-anticipated title game rematch did not disappoint with St. Thomas and Gilford going back and forth all afternoon. 

 The Saints struck early off the foot of Kate Burrus to give them a 1-0 lead. Millie Caldon would respond for Gilford with 20 minutes left in the contest to tie things up as the two sides were headed for overtime. 

 Two OT periods did not produce a winner, so the game would be decided in PK's, where the Saints found a way to edge the Golden Eagles 5-4 to be crowned Division III champions.
