Two teams that were one game apart from each other in the standings proved everyone right with how well they can compete.

 Both teams played with a lot of a lot of aggression which lead to a lot of whistles being blown. Milford controlled the game for most of the first half with Derryfield closely behind them.

 However, the Cougars just had a hard time getting over the deficit. That was until the second half where Derryfield had a stretch of threes, and defensive stops.

 Derryfield gained the lead and kept it for the entire half. Derryfield got the win but both teams competed at a playoff level. Will we see this matchup again in the post season, who knows? But for this encounter Derryfield gets the win 52-38.
