The Bulldogs surge in the second half to be the last unbeaten team standing

The much-anticipated undefeated matchup did not disappoint as both teams came out firing.

The Bulldogs held onto a 21-20 lead after one quarter in one of the best 8 minute stretches we have seen this season.

Kaylee Dupuis, Alex White, and Liz Lavoie kept the Astros in it early, but the Bedford bench stepped up in the second quarter with Megan Muir and Mel McCarthy making an impact with Lana McCarthy in foul trouble.

Lyla Stein controlled the tempo for Bedford and helped lead a second half surge alongside McCarthy and Kate Allard.

Bedford eclipsed a season-high in points with 91, to earn a commanding victory over Pinkerton.
