The first round of the Division II playoffs began with Kennett traveling to take on Pelham.

 Right out of the gate Pelham played like they had something to prove. Immediately applying tons of pressure on the defensive end, and efficiently scoring off fast breaks.

 This gave them a lead they never lost. In fact it only increased as the game went on. The final saw the Pythons get the win 60-23, and move onto the quarterfinals where they will face #4 John Stark.
