The Bulldogs control the game from the second quarter on to head back to the finals

It was Portsmouth-Bedford in the semifinals for the fourth consecutive season and was a much anticipated matchup after these two played to 56-50 in the regular season.

The Clippers punched early, bringing the energy on both ends of the floor and holding a 16-9 first quarter lead behind strong play from Margaret Montplaisir and Avery Romps.

From that point on, the Bulldogs took control of the game. Sarah Muir provided a defensive spark and led a 21-4 second quarter run to put Bedford in front 30-20 at the break.

The Bedford offense found a rhythm in the second half behind strong play from Lana McCarthy and the Bulldogs earned a fourth straight championship appearance behind a 62-35 win.

Bedford will square off with Pinkerton at UNH on Sunday to decide who will be crowned Division I champions.

Lance Legere brings you all the play-by-play, Manchester Memorial head coach Greg Cotreau provides color commentary, and Patrick Cogan brings you all the highlights and the post-game interview/celebration with the winners.
