The Bulldogs run the table to be crowned champions

It was a clash of the titans for the Division I title, as #1 Bedford and #2 Pinkerton grudged it out early on at UNH.

Lana McCarthy started the scoring quick, with 13 of the Bulldogs 16 points in the first quarter, but a strong push from Brooke Benz and Kaylee Dupuis gave the Astros a 18-16 lead after one.

Foul trouble would play a factor, as a Liz Lavoie and Lana McCarthy both sat with three fouls, all of Lavoie's coming in the first quarter.

Sarah Muir got in the passing lanes once again to help give Bedford a 26-23 lead at the break.

A Sydney Gerossie three gave Pinkerton a slim 34-30 lead midway through the third, but with McCarthy on the bench with four fouls, Kate Allard and company were able to string together a 7-0 run to finish the quarter up 47-36.

From then on, the transition game opened up for Bedford, and they walked away as undefeated state champions with a 60-41 win over Pinkerton.
