Five Candidates for the player of the week

“Choose Community” with colleges that support student success and offer far more than you’ve ever imagined. New Hampshire Community Colleges. 

 We will nominate five candidates for the Community College of New Hampshire/Adrenaline Fundraising Boys Baseball Player of the Week every week.

 Voting will go until Thursday at 7 a.m.

 Each winner will receive a Choose Community shirt from CCSNH and a $25 Buffalo Wild Wings gift certificate!

 Winners can take a picture with their shirt surrounded by their teammates and coaches!

 We'll post the picture of the winners and tag everyone in the picture on Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, and Twitter to our 40,000 plus followers.

 The Community College System of New Hampshire is made up of our partners (Manchester Community College, Nashua Community College, White Mountains Community College, Great Bay Community College, and NHTI), who make our coverage of statewide high school sports possible.

 Our poll is also sponsored by the team at Adrenaline Fundraising, which has raised money for New Hampshire’s baseball and softball programs from the high school to youth level for over twenty years.

 Week 1 Winner: Noah Covell of White Mountain Regional

 Week 2 Winner: Cam Hujsak of Goffstown

 

Week 3 Candidates:

Anthony Paolicelli of John Stark...the Generals lefty played a big role in two HUGE John Stark wins last week. On Wednesday, he earned the save by striking out the side in the 7th inning of a 2-0 win over Bow. Then, on Friday, he threw a 3-hit CG against St. Thomas, striking out an astounding 17 batters in 7 innings of a 10-2 win.

Cam Piwnicki of Exeter...the right-handed pitcher, had a pair of complete game wins for the Blue Hawks last week with a 2-hit, 10-K performance against Nashua South followed by a 3-hit, 7-K outing against Winnacunnet.  

Isaac Langlois of Gorham- The Huskies earned a big-time win over Littleton, 5-4, as Langlois had two hits at the plate and threw a complete game, giving up only four hits and striking out five Crusaders.

Drew Smith of Gilford...Smith picked up the win over previously unbeaten White Mountains last week when he worked the final two innings of the 6-4 Golden Eagles comeback over the defending champs.  He struck out 5 Spartans batters in the 6th and 7th innings to lock down the W.  Smith also went 1 for 2 with a run scored and an RBI at the plate.  

Tristan Lucier of Trinity...the freshman phenom has recorded multiple hits in each of his last five games and went 8 for 12 in his three games last week, raising his season average to a Division 1-best .559 entering the week.
