This game was the personification of why Division I is one of the most competitive divisions in the state for girls' soccer.

 Salem and Londonderry battled it out in the first halves going goal for goal for the entire forty minutes. Walking into the second half the game was tied 2-2, and both sides made all the right adjustments as neither team was budging defensively.

 Each side rode waves of momentum but no shots were falling. In the end, it proved to be an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object as after regulation neither team was able to score, ending the contest in a 2-2 tie.
