The title game rematch did not disappoint as two of the best teams in the state battled it out once again.
The scoring was back and forth early, with Bedford holding a slight edge over Pinkerton after the first quarter, leading 16-14.
The Bulldogs upped the defensive intensity from the second quarter on, with Annie Zink and Sarah Muir making an impact in the lanes all night long.
Brooke Benz was a real spark for Pinkerton, and Syd Gerossie and Kaylee Dupuis made a late push to keep the Astros in it, but Bedford proved to be too much.
Mel McCarthy created a lot of second chances on the offensive glass and Kate Allard did a great job helping facilitate offense on the wing and on the low block.
Bedford earns a very good 65-52 win at home to remain unbeaten while Pinkerton falls to 4-1.
