It was slow offensively for both teams to start, after a 5-3 end to the first quarter. However, the pace picked up in the second with the Bears and Sabers each finding their strides.
Souhegan’s Caroline Drum and Zofia Rosenfield led the way for their team in scoring. And while the Bears kept it close, the collective defensive effort by the Sabers is what helped them prevail down the stretch.
