The Tigers sweep on Senior Night

Monday night in the Jungle was all Farmington. The Tigers came out sharp, played clean volleyball, and never let off the gas in a straight-set win over Nute. It was exactly the kind of night you hope for on senior night — fun, confident, and full of energy from the first serve to the last point.

Seniors Anna Hebert and Anna Cardinal set the tone early, leading a group that continues to play some of its best volleyball down the stretch. What stood out most, though, was how complete the team effort was. Every rotation brought something from strong swings to steady serving and disciplined defense. When Farmington finds its rhythm, it feels like everything moves in sync.

But Nute deserves credit for the fight. They didn’t back down against a taller, more experienced team and found ways to rally through tough stretches. Sophia Blair and Hannah Cartier had some great moments offensively, and Jules Luca’s service run in the second set gave the Rams real momentum. There’s no fear in how they play, just hard work and heart.

Both teams wrap up their regular seasons later this week, with Farmington riding a wave of confidence into the postseason, and Nute continuing to show the kind of resilience that will pay off in time.
