Without a doubt the biggest upset of the Conference championship matchups was the Sanborn Indians rolling into Monadnock HS and upsetting the previously undefeated and reigning D-V champion Huskies.  The Sanborn program has improved tremendously over the last few years and they’ll need to play their best game going up against another powerhouse in Plymouth on Saturday afternoon.

Speaking of tough road matchups - nobody wants to go to Keene to play the Blackbirds. If you like smashmouth football you’ll want to take this game in Saturday as both teams will look to control the ball and the clock by handing the ball off over and over again.  

With 9 games remaining on the schedule this year our Staff Picks are going to come down to McIsaac and Haley (again) battling out for the right to a free meal at the famous Auburn Pitts Bar & Grill.  The Portsmouth/Trinity game will give one of them the edge after this weekend.
