Being the 3rd biggest city in NH doesn’t guarantee you anything when it comes to State Titles in Football. In fact, it’s been over 10 years since Concord has been to the title game, let alone won a State Championship. On Saturday afternoon, that all changed…

Back in early October the Crimson Tide pulled out an OT win in Derry when Walters Ndi bullied his way into the endzone.  Saturdays Division I Championship game would not be nearly as close as Concord was able to take advantage of the Astros defense through both the air and ground throughout most of the afternoon.

Robbie Law passed for 206 yards and 3 TDs including connections to Seimou Smith (27 yds), Marc Gaudet (21 yds) and Nick Comeau (5 yds) while the aforementioned Ndi was able to burst through a hole for a 12 yd TD run and Leo Sudieh led off the scoring in the 1st quarter with a 27 yd scramble for a TD.

For Pinkerton, Manny Latimore and T.J. Urbanik (you’re going to hear/say “Urbanik” a lot in 2014) combined for over 150 yards with each rushing for scores to account for the only Pinkerton points in the game. It caps an extremely successful career for the star RB from Pinkerton who now holds the record for most yards gained in Astros history (4,142 yards) which when compared with some of the great Pinkerton running backs of the past is quite a feat.
