If you're going to beat the Bow Falcons you better stack the line and compete with their power running game. As they've done all year, they hammered the ball up the middle and came out with a 20-6 DIII Championship game victory.

Not only has Bow been the best power running game in Division III all year, but they've also hosted the best defensive gameplanning and playmaking all year as well.  With Donald Pellerin and a potent Stevens rushing attack coming to town Saturday afternoon they'd have to have their best game on tap, which they did - producing a 20-6 victory for the home Falcons.

Pellerin did all he could do to the tune of 127 yards on the ground including several tough runs where he carried defenders for additonal yardage.

But that yards after contact really was the story of the game, albeit for the Falcons who seemed to shake tacklers all afternoon.  In fact, Bow exclusively ran running plays almost the entire game as the Cardinals had no answer to an attack that featured Tucker Johnson, Michael Johnson, Alec Tellifson, Nathan Nappen and others who just beat up the Stevens front line.

Bow had one fo the the best offenses, and the best defense in Division III this year and proved that with wins over the premier teams in their division en route to the State Championship.
