Josh Joyce led the Golden Eagles to a 62-52 win over Laconia in a key Division III battle with seeding implications. Laconia fought hard but Gilford was too much down the stretch and improves to 13-3 on the year.
 

Joining Joyce in double digits for the Eagles were Kaleb Orten with 14 and Michael Madore with 10.  Coby Goodwin was big in the paint controlling the glass.  Aiden Dean and Jon Pelkey had 17 and 16 and Matt Swormstedt chipped in 10 for the Sachems. Laconia falls to 9-6 on the year.
