As we all know, Power Polls are silly- some of the voters don’t even watch any games! But people love lists, which is why Buzzfeed is a thing, so here’s Justin McIsaac’s TOP TEN!

10. HOLY TOUCHDOWNS

Brendan Johnson threw for FIVE TD’s for Bishop Brady – and the Giants needed every one of them in a 35-34 win on the road over Epping/Newmarket. 11-17 for 200 yards – A lot of people were hoping for that production from their fantasy QB’s this week. Speaking of that game…

9. I DON’T LIKE JUSTIN LEONARD GOING FOR 2 AT THE END OF THAT GAME, I LOVE IT

The E/N v BB game featured about 6,000 yards of offense (It was more like 550, but still). When the Blue Devils returned a kickoff for a TD with 1:10 remaining, Leonard (first game as head coach) went for the win rather than playing it safe and going for OT (actually in HS, a PAT is no gimme). When I saw E/N at the Seacoast Jamboree, those kids were flying all over the field, and it looked like Leonard was ready to crash through a wall, Kool-Aid man style. Love the aggressiveness.

8. THAT’S SO JETS

The Jets managed to choke away a big lead against the Packers yesterday, but down 31-24, it looked like they’d tied the game on a Geno Smith TD pass…. Until 900 whistles were going off, and it was revealed they’d called a time out before the play. Marty Mornhinweg was racing down the sidelines yelling at Rex Ryan to take a timeout, and Jets DL Sheldon Richardson, thinking he was helping, yelled Time Out into the refs ear. That might be the most Jets thing to happen since the Buttfumble…

7. ADAM SCHEFETER IS NOT A POPULAR GUY TODAY

My dog Jodie, as she is wont to do, woke me up at 7 am Sunday, because god forbid I should ever sleep in ever. While waiting for her to befoul my lawn, I checked twitter, because that’s what humans do with more than 6 seconds of silence now. Adam Scheffter reported that Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery were “75% not playing” against San Fran. I don’t have either guy in fantasy, but a LOT of people got screwwwwwwed by that advice, plugging 1 pm and 4 pm guys into a WR slot, only to see Marshall go off for 3 TD’s in the late game. People were less than pleased with that development: https://twitter.com/search?q=adam%20schefter%20brandon%20marshall&src=tyah

6. GO GET YOUR SHINEBOX ROB RYAN

Cleveland beat New Orleans yesterday, as the Saints just can’t play out doors for some reason. Sean Payton was a bit frustrated with Wolfman Rob, and let him know thusly: http://deadspin.com/sean-payton-lets-rob-ryan-know-whats-what-1634637297

Careful Sean, there’s a Ryan Family history of not putting up with that crap:http://deadspin.com/sean-payton-lets-rob-ryan-know-whats-what-1634637297

5. EVERYONE THAT’S SCORED ON SAINT THOMAS’ OR EXETER’S DEFENSE, STAND UP…. *CRICKETS*

Spaulding went into Bill Ball land, and came away losing by only 7, but that score came on a Brendan Mathias kickoff return for a TD. Exeter shut out Central in the opener 17-0, and their D will face a stiff test against Goffstown coming up. Meanwhile, Eric Cumba’s Saints have outscored their first 2 opponents 103-0. The Saints will face a similar test against Merrimack Valley Saturday. Which D gives up points first, WHO YA GOT?!?

4. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON IN D1 WEST?

After seeing Bishop Guertin in the Queen City Jamboree, I had them grabbing the first playoff spot in the West. But, the Cardinals are 0-2, and Alvirne sits atop the conference… sub-division… whatever we’re supposed to call it. Lots of football left to play but to me that’s one of the biggest surprises along with….

3. ARE MERRIMACK AND SALEM BACK? I THINK THEY’RE BACK.

Salem’s 2-0, and we’re going to find out real quick how for real they are when they face Pinkerton this weekend. Good to see them back in the mix, after a bit of a struggle when Windham High opened up. Merrimack is also 2-0, and they beat BG for the first time since 2000 this weekend. D1 South has 4 teams at 2-0 right now.

2. CAN WE STOP RAISING THE PRICE AT THE ROCHESTER FAIR?

I have a 9 & 10 year old, which means going to the Rochester Fair is not optional. In the OLD days, you just had to know the right person to let you in free (and I did), though you’d still get hosed on ride tickets. Then it was a $10 flat fee. Now it’s $14. Some quick math tells me that’s $56 for a family of 4, plus funnel cake, and cotton candy, and playing the crooked carny games… I dropped hundred $)@&ing dollars this year! For that price, can we get someone to run around with a fire hose to knock down the dirtbags blowing cigarette smoke into kid’s faces at this thing?!?

1. MIKE VAILAS RUNNING WILD

Bedford and Portsmouth looked like the Main Event on Friday night, but Vailas and the Bedford Bulldogs really put an end to things early at Tom Daubney Field, thanks huge part to Mike Vailas’ play on offense and defense- 2 INT’s on the defensive side and a SportsCenter Top 10 TD run helped the Bulldogs to a 37-7 victory/

ALSO RECEIVEING VOTES: Eliot Bless trading for Josh Gordon BEFORE his suspension being reduced in fantasy, Pembroke B Ball getting a schedule, Lebanon is quietly 2-0, Richard Sherman: you mad bro?, Chandler Jones’ wingspan
