Gilford came to play early and took a 11-4 lead in the first quarter and controlled most of the first half. Evan Arsenault went off in the 3rd quarter and his Mountaineers took the lead 41-33 going into the 4th quarter. Gilford cut it to 1 with 5 minutes left in the game but Berlin was able to hold on in the 4th quarter for the win and advance to the semifinals to face Somersworth on Wednesday night.
