1. Portsmouth 19-2 (5 first place votes)

How will they look in 2019?: Player of the Year Cody Graham graduates along with all-state guard Mike Sanborn and 6’4 starter Max Lincoln. All-state center Alex Tavares will return to the starting lineup along with Cal Hewitt as John Mulvey will take over for the year (and perhaps longer) as head coach for a team that looks like a top 8 team in 2019.

  2. Exeter 16-5

How will they look in 2019?: As long as Josh Morissette doesn’t leave for prep school the Blue Hawks will be in title contention again. Cam Clark, Kevin Henry (who had a big performance in the final four), Ryan Grijalva (2019 will be his breakout season), Max Rose & Jake Ross all return for Jeff Holmes next season.

  3. Hollis-Brookline 19-2

How will they look in 2019?: Very different…Player of the Year Matt Simco graduates along with Matt Dowling, Scott Van Coughnett, and Jonathan Brackett. Grant Synder will step into a bigger role for a team that will rebuild on the fly.

  4. Manchester Central  15-6

How will they look in 2019?: All-state forward Kyler Bosse graduates along with floor general Antione Revere. In addition, sophomore Yansel Reyes has already announced his intentions to go prep next season. Ding Nyiang and Eric Cortijo-Rodriguez give the Little Green a very good foundation.

  5. Dover    11-11

How will they look in 2019?: This becomes Ty Vitko’s team with the graduation of Devin Cady, Johnny Cantwell & Ryan Coleman. Griffin Carloni and Willem Frederico step into bigger roles for the best story of the 2018 post-season.

 6. Bedford      14-5

How will they look in 2019?: Max Chartier (and his two brothers), Nolan Anderson & Connor Crowley all graduate. This will be a new look team in 2019 but don't shed any tears for Bedford, they have underclassman ready to step up into bigger roles.

 7. Manchester Memorial   13-6

How will they look in 2019?: Danny Bryson’s team loses a whopping seven seniors who all played big roles this season….it will be a rebuilding job for Bryson in Year 2 at his alma mater.

 8. Somersworth   20-2

How will they look in 2019?: The Bryton Early Show becomes the Evan Gray Show in 2019. Gray returns along with Ethan Johnson & Luke Monesmith to give head coach Rob Fauci enough to defend their title in 2019.

 9. Oyster River     15-7

How will they look in 2019?: The Bobcats…already invited to the Coaches for a Cause Jamboree..will contend again behind Kyle Landrigan, Joe Morrell (man bun included) and Max Lewis. How the rest of the rotation fills in around them will tell you how far they’ll go in 2019 but Oyster River will be a favorite to get back to Durham……….or in their case, further down the road in Durham.

How will they look in 2019?: Rich Otis’s Spartans will be your pre-season #1 in Division II. Noah Cummings & Sean Menard both return along with several key contributors to their Final Four run to UNH.

  10.  (tie) Kearsarge Regional

 How will they look in 2019?: Noah Tremblay proved himself to be a very capable scorer in Tommy Johnson and Tayler Mattos’s four-game absence. Next season he will be the focal point of Nate Camp’s offense as he and 6’6 center Kyle Hernon return to the starting lineup.

 11. Alvirne     13-7

How will they look in 2019?: Losing Max Bonney-Liles is essentially is like losing two players, that’s how much he brought to the table, but a good nucleus returns to Marty Edwards team led by Paul Manzi, Ryan Weston, and Joe Canelas.

 12. Winnacunnet   13-7

How will they look in 2019?: Ben Allen & Jack Schaake return to give Jay McKenna an all-state point guard & center to build around. That’s a pretty good place to start, but the Warriors will need players from the JV team to step up into much bigger roles in 2019 to contend for a title as they have the past three seasons.

 13. Pittsfield     21-1

How will they look in 2019?: Five players who played key roles in the 2018 championship graduate..Dylan Bocash goes from Glue-Guy to THE guy………

 14. Berlin       17-4

How will they look in 2019?: Berlin may be your pre-season #1 again in Division III as Seth Balderrama, Michael Moore, Sinciere Davis and Damien (Not Darrien!!...I’m yelling at myself btw..) Larochelle all return to Dave Morissette’s team. Replacing Evan Arsenault at the point is going to be very difficult but Moore may be the man for the job.

 15. Merrimack Valley    15-6

How will they look in 2019?: Big graduation losses for Tim Mucher’s team who gave Hollis-Brookline it’s toughest game of the tournament at UNH. Center Kyle Dube returns as does Jared Sylvester, Dillon McCarthy, and Caleb Heath…..Merrimack Valley should be back in the Top 8 again next season.

Also receiving votes: Londonderry, Newmarket, Coe-Brown & Campbell
