The Pinkerton Astros (3-0) broke up a defensive battle when Gannon Fast scored on a 1 yard fourth down run early in the third quarter. QB Aidan Goujon would follow that up with a 69 yard touchdown throw to tight end Michael Sarette to make it 17-0.

 Pinkerton withstood a late push by a very game and much improved Exeter (1-2) team to pick up their third victory before a showdown next Friday night with their arch-rival Londonderry (3-0).
