The WMCC Division II Semifinal: Plymouth 45, Souhegan 28

Plymouth advances to their 3rd straight championship game

Plymouth is headed back to UNH after holding off Souhegan 45-28 on Saturday afternoon. It was 17-0 Plymouth early in the first quarter until Souhegan came back and got to within 24-21 late in the second quarter. Plymouth responded with two touchdowns in the last couple minutes of the second quarter to take a 38-21 halftime lead. Souhegan scored a touchdown on their opening possession of the second half to cut it to 10 but that was the closest they were able to get it and Plymouth used their defense and their run game to control the rest of the game. The Panthers Owen Brickley and Patrick Malm had monster games on the ground with both of them finishing with over 200 yards and 5 touchdown runs between them. 

Plymouth will continue their quest to 3 peat next Saturday when they face the Alvirne Broncos in the Division 2 Championship game.
